A gimbal mount is a pole hardware made of aluminum alloy. The strength of this aluminum alloy is high enough to provide mechanical strength to the gimbal bracket. The design of the universal pole bracket makes it easy to adapt to any type of mounting configuration, such as concrete poles, metal poles and wooden poles. The Gimbal Bracket is a handy tool designed to suit a variety of applications.
Depending on the type of material to be installed, the configuration may vary:
1. When used for wood drillable rods, head bolts can be used.
2. When used with non-drillable rods such as rebar and concrete, use two stainless steel rod straps with buckles and bolts to secure the assembly.
3. When installing on a pre-drilled pole, fix it with pole head bolts.
Installation of the gimbal bracket is very simple. First, you have to drill holes in the rod, which can sometimes be pre-drilled. Then the next step is to attach the gimbal bracket to the rod. This can be done with nuts, bolts and washers or using stainless steel straps. A tensioning tool can also be used to tighten the UPB to the rod.
