According to the survey, the areas where the overhead lightning protection lines are dropped are all located in areas with strong wind. Experience has found that there are two reasons for the dropped lightning protection lines due to the wear of the suspension clamps:
(1) Due to the action of the wind, there is a relative movement between the hull of the suspension clamp and the hanging plate, and the hanging plate swings at a small angle around the hanging shaft of the hull. Because the hanging plate is thin, its swinging action is like cutting a blade to produce groove marks, which causes the force section of the hull hanging shaft to become thinner and smaller. If the hull falls from the suspension clamp, the lightning protection line is dropped and the grounding accident occurs;
(2) The suspension wire clip is too large or the lightning protection wire is not pressed tightly. Under the action of wind, the lightning protection wire and the hull of the wire clip will move relative to each other, causing the wear of the lightning protection wire; Or burn out the lightning protection wire, which will cause the lightning protection wire to fall off from the suspension clamp, and an accident similar to the above will occur.
2. Preventive measures
(1) The hanging plate of the hull hanging shaft of the suspension clamp is fixed by a bolt. There is a flat gasket in the bolt. The gasket covers the connecting part of the hanging shaft. If the gasket is not opened, it is difficult to find the hull hanging shaft. Therefore, when checking the wear degree of the hanging shaft, the latch must be removed and the gasket must be opened. At the same time, temporary measures should be taken to prevent the lightning conductor from falling during the inspection.
(2) In order to prevent the wear of the lightning protection wire, the size of the suspension clamp should be selected according to the cross-section of the lightning protection wire. During the construction, the lightning protection wire at the clamp should be wrapped with aluminum tape and the lightning protection wire should be compressed in strict accordance with the process requirements. .
(3) In the circuit design, only the load of the fittings is required, while other strength parameters are not required to be inspected. Therefore, in areas with strong wind and large wind deflection, when selecting suspension clamps for circuit design and construction, wear-resistant clamps (such as various alloys) and suspension clamps with wind-proof deflection components should be considered.
(4) In the ordinary line maintenance work, especially the annual inspection of the line overhaul, it should be carried out in strict accordance with the regulations and specifications, and all kinds of suspension clamps should be opened and inspected according to the regulations.
